Design review
Do not treat oversized as simply sizing up a regular hoodie; approve proportion and grading before bulk.
A stage-by-stage approval path from first product idea to sample, pre-production check, bulk production, inspection and shipment.

Do not treat oversized as simply sizing up a regular hoodie; approve proportion and grading before bulk.
Test shrinkage and decoration after wash so the approved sample is repeatable.
Separate fabric, decoration, trims, and packing approvals to avoid late changes during production.

These questions keep sample approval, material choice, trim changes and shipment timing from colliding late in production.
Send stageAgree the care procedure, measurement points and acceptable dimensional change before testing. Compare before-and-after measurements on the same sample; a generic claim such as pre-shrunk does not replace a documented method.
Review heavyweight hoodie requirementsNot automatically. Review how width, length and sleeve reach change across the intended size range. A base-size approval alone cannot confirm the proportions at the smallest and largest sizes.
Review oversized hoodie requirementsThat placement needs a construction-specific trial. Seams, pocket edges and zipper gaps interrupt the surface and can distort alignment. Provide the intended artwork position and review a finished sample before bulk.
Review private label hoodie requirementsBulk production lead time depends on order quantity. Send the planned units by color and size so the schedule can be confirmed, and keep the approved sample, artwork and material references with the order.
Review custom hoodies in bulk requirementsChanging a pullover hoodie into a zip-up is more than adding a zipper to the center front. The opening changes pattern pieces, hood attachment, pocket layout and decoration. Choose the route around how the garment should be worn and build a specific sample brief for that construction.
Read the guide Production planningGSM means grams per square meter of fabric. It describes mass per area, not the weight of a finished hoodie. Garment size, pattern area, hood layers, pockets, rib and hardware all contribute to the final weight, so a GSM number alone cannot predict how substantial or comfortable a hoodie will feel.
Read the guide Production planningA hoodie sample can look convincing from the front while leaving important details unresolved. The hood may pull at the neckline, the pocket may sit too low, or the rib may change the intended body shape. Review the whole garment in a fixed sequence and turn every observation into a clear decision.
Read the guideTell us whether you have a tech pack, reference sample, approved fabric, artwork, trims, target quantity or fixed launch date.
Beyond fit and fabric, hoodies have a few approval points that are easy to overlook: hood shape when worn up and down, drawcord length and tips, rib recovery at cuffs and hem, and how decoration sits relative to the pocket and seams. Check each of these on the sample and note them in your comments.
Most delays come from waiting on artwork or color decisions. Finalize artwork files and color references before the sample is made, and send sample comments in one clear message with photos. Samples typically take 7 days once confirmed; bulk timing depends on quantity.
Keep approved samples and files together for reorders. A short note of anything you would change next time — fit, color or decoration — makes the next order better.
During bulk, we share progress and raise any issue that affects the approved standard. If you need specific updates, such as photos before packing, agree them in advance.
Before bulk, confirm in writing that the approved sample, fabric, colors, artwork and labels are final. That record becomes the standard for inspection.
